just bought this yday. needs a fair bit of cleaning up, but thats the joys of a project. would love to strip it down completly but i need it for work. so il have to do every thing i need to do on the weekends..
it doesnt on the pics pal. but up close the frame has been hand bashed over rust, no prep what so ever. no clocks. the sh**** digi ones that are on were bought from the poundland i reckon and are fu****. the electrics are knackered aswel. just lil jobs really but they sharp mount up. gonna crack on with sorting it out on the weekend. iv read thru your project btw, ya bikes really fkn nice.
done a little bit of work on the bike at the weekend.. cleaned up the backend and pulled all the graphics off. didnt really like them. gonna put the original ones back on.
been a while since iv been on here. never really done much to the bike since, but some **** reversed into my bike when it was parked outside the house. ended up with a technical write-off. he cracked the clocks and ****ed the front dep. so after 4 weeks on a ****ty ybr 125, i ended up with my bike back and £800. time for a full rebuild :)
Il start with the after the bump pics. had to bodge the rear fender to get the bike to the garage for the insurance.
gotda try and get this done in a few weeks, using peasent wagons at the min.. and its not good smelling of old people and piss by the time i get to work ha.. so there shouldnt be to long to wait to see it finished :)
Aye engines sound. Runs mint just had a new top End and was 250 miles into running it in When it was hit. An nev a cant fkn wait. Even More so because av most of the parts already :)
a was thinking it will get noticed alot more when its done. last thing id want is it to be nicked coz id never get the money iv spent on it back. much are they?
£25-£30 on Ebay, when you come to insuring it, get an "Agreed Value Policy" you get its proper value, not the book price. I went with Carole Nash for mine, they give you a phial of coded smart paint too, theres £"30 quid back.
