Unknown part inside the engine. Assembling. Where does this go ?

Okay guys, I have a problem, When setting my engine back together. I found this part with the cluch. Cant find a reasonable place for it. theres no drawings showing it either. I put it with the clutch so im guessing it has to go somewhere close to the cluch.

but if you got a clue or think you know any other spot for it then please tell me ! :)IMAG0202.jpgIMAG0203.jpg

Notice that on this 2nd pic you can see 2 marks on it on the middle. Like it has been used in between 2 parts. Im considering if its supposed to go in between the block. But the block is back together now and i dont know why i would leave it with the cluch if it came from the engine block.

So please anyone i need help ! xD

That sits in the walls of the housing. It secures the casing together.

Ive seen the other "tubes" that fits the housings together, and their alot thinner than this one, This one is maybe 2-3 mm thick. Its 16mm long and 11mm thick on the outside and 9mm thick on the inside.

if u look on the bottom of the barrel or on the crank cases where the studs are theres 1 or 2 round them if u look up the barrel with it in ur handull see that the stud holes are different sizes, 2 for studs with locator dowels on

some times they corrode coz people dont grease them on rebuilding then u have to destroy some of them to gewt em out

iv built loads of engines without them in its not a 100% needed part!
