When i came back from staffordshire the next day (i riden atleast 70 miles with a few breaks) i noticed where the oil leak was comming from.. thankfully it wasn't the drain hole or the gear leaver! it was just the screws that need tightening on the case on left handside.
Also is it normal for a little few drops of water to come out of the overflow in the frame? after that rideout? I was tould i should get a gasket for my casing (where it is leaking on the left handside..) if it does get worse i will.  i'm thankfull for anyones opinions & advice on here :)  Man i love riding bikes but it's a bollock ache fixing them haha

id just take the cover off and get it all COMPLETELY clean and dry OF OIL or what ever then wipe the gasket dry aswell then using a THIN SMEAR 2" THIN" OF GASKET SEALER

u only need a light smear some people go daft with the stuff normally

put it on both sides of the gasket then fit and tighten the casing let it dry for an hour then fill it back up with oil

quick fix

or just get a new gasket if u wanna be fussy lol

theres only head gaskets i dont re use normally

and i make what gaskets i can loads cheaper in the long run

and more garage time lol smile
