Keep as you are tbh, unless you wanna blow big money.

Big bore kits;

Athena 170

German "Athena killer"180 <- (best to get imo)

You could swap out your head for a 3mb higher compression head unless you already have this head fitted.

Polish/minor port work....Polish the head/piston crown etc,etc....everything you need is on here mate just search the forum.

Carb wise i'd stick with anything from 30-34mm if you want to do that.

Vforce 3 reeds, talk to the only way is yamaha about that.

Cut open the airbox, remove snorkle....yeah i cba to write anymore i'm pretty much just repeating what has been stated 100 times before in older threads anyway.

 the tzr is a flat piston isnt it

youd get a higher comp with a dt piston its domed, or would it it the squish

the 4dl engines use domed piston and im sure the sp does aswell

 Not anymore apparently, heard a few things about them since Stan retired. No personal experience though I deal with Bob Farnham.

If you have the money i'd buy that 200R engine if I were you. It will save you alot of time and get you better results

 The TZR piston I had put in is for an early model TZR and is domed, exactly the same as the old RD pistons, except that the RD pistons have the windows,

nope lol higher crown, you'd need to ask Dave at roadanddirtbike.com, he supplied it for me. otherwise I would have bought the DT piston,as I was looking at putting in either a Wiseco, or a Wossner piston, he put me onto the TZR piston, I took his word for it as he builds race engines.

Well bearing in mind I'm still running it in, but I let my mate who has a tricked up R6, have a go on it last week, and he was impressed, as for whether or not its made a difference, to be honest I couldn't tell you, as when I first bought it and before the strip down I could only take it for a short blast, as plod came up behind me telling me it was a bit loud to be tearing up and down on it at that time of night, pulling power though I'm impressed, as I'm a gnats **** off 6'5" and 20 .5 stone and it pulls away with me on it no probs, and my lad who's about 11 stone wet through, reckons its the fastest 125 he's been on. When it's been run in I'm after putting it on a dyno, just to see what its got.
