Got some goodie today!

Well after the first accident this bolt bent;

So now to make sure that never happens again, first off i've got a set of handguards with the reinforced metal thingy, and i've got some Zeta Rubber Killers which basically are the spacers inbetween the bolt and the pinch clamp's for the Bars & Top Yoke

 

Bit of bling aswell as it being useful!

And the finished article;

Very happy with it now, doesnt look too bad after it having me as an owner!

 

 

Plans for the future;

Going to get a new Zaust system at the end of this month as i hate the stock with it being heavy and sounding completely stupid!

need it to start sounding like this again.....

Lookin good Nath lad, needs a Polisport front mudguard on it mind, lookin like you chopped down a UFO one atm.

Btw, are those handguards the standard DRZ ones or aftermarket?

Sound pal! erm the muddy was like that when i got it, looks aftermarket and someones cut a bit off too! nope the stock handguards are plastic without the bark buster frames! these where some cheap £20 ones which i sorted bodged on hahaha, tbh there on there solid as a rock tho!

Reliable yup, you'll need to spend a few quid to get them to a reasonable standard tho as they are pretty slow outta the box, FCR carb, new cams, BB kit and a full zaust and you should be getting close to KTM 450 standards!

Yup 400 standard comes out the box at 35 bhp give or take, with the mods on it wont affect the reliability to the point of a ktm where you are at the side of the road every hour but its gunna knock a few miles before a rebuild as youd assume!

After breaking my wrist ive had a bit of time on my hands, so i stripped the dizzy down to give it a proper clean, just waiting on a couple parts so i clean down my exhaust and shine it up, couple little additions tho!

The DRZ looks slick as f*ck mate!! biggrin Quick question... Do the plod ever give ye sh*t about not having mirrors on the bike?? I absolutely hate the look of the mirror on mine and wanna take it off.... but don't want the po-po making a list of 'illegal' parts on the bike (exhaust has "not for road use" plastered down the side as well).

I know the sound all to well man.... See some lad everyday going to college on a black DRZ and it is one sexy noise!! biggrin Dunno what exhaust he has though, as he is always on the opposite carriage!
