Didn't know they did Pirelli Scorpions for the DT, decent car tyre too, I have the Scorpion Zero's on the Lexus,£700 a set mind. Don't they have the Yellow scorpion on the bike tyres then?

Yeah they look really good tyres. Just ordered a set of Bridgestone trail wings for 65 quid delivered. Not sure how but bargain if it comes through. I'm gonna need a set of tyres for my 3xp soonish so will need to find out what fits.

Back on topic, have you got the wr200 dep silencer or does the 125 fit it?

ok so i cut the silencer to fit it but then fount where i cut it the I.D. was less than where the silencer joins so the exhaust gases would be restricted, so now im selling my silencer, its an easy weld up since it not been cut right off

go to find a silemcer with a 23mm ID

it looked like i could have lined it up nicelyfurious

but will find a new way

need to ,ake up exhaust brackets and bend the one on the front pipe where it should join under the tank

found a few pics of my exhaust on a dt125r to help

****, my silencer won't come for two weeks :(

But I started it today and it ran nicely,   moving the kickstart forward. One spline made it start alot easier because it's now alot harder to kickover

Did you buy it brand new? The silencer I mean? How much it cost? I saw one on Gumtree with a standard front pipe. The guy was gonna pack up for me and I was waiting to arrange courier. Then he just ignored all my phone calls and txts. Arse wipe it what.

Thats a proper nice job, first time ive ever seen this thread or anyone take the time to mod the 125 cases to get the 200 crank in them. I remember the first time I tried to put a 200 topend on a 125.....oops the rod is to short so silly c**t me sent a nackered 125 crank off for a recon and still no good lol stroke was still to short with the 200 rod in the 125 crank...... Not to worry though I got the topend from canada for pennys and sold it for daft money on ebay......;)

You running a single rad set up ? They run fine on the single rad and dont overheat, ive done it a few times but never like you ive just done straight forward full lump swaps with WR200 DT200WR and full bike swaps with DT200R,s.

I did this one with a like new 88 3ET DT200R with about a 1000 k,s on the clock onto a 52plate 125 frame when the 125 was 18 months or so old. I used to buy the 200,s from Bat motorcycles in Biggin Hill 2 and 3 at a time. I dont know if they are still there these days.

Yes, I finished it ages ago, so I though, I am going to rebore the carb to 32mm, and run part methanol like we do on turbo cars where I work, it cools the inlet temp, realeses oxygen while burning and keeps the engine cool

Bike still is very quick but the mixture. Needs perfecting
