Cheers yeah it definitely does - hardly ridden it so looking forward to having some fun I swear I always have things like this spending more time in pieces than on the road.

Sweet will have to let you have a play with mine when it blows up I really am not confident re building it haha

That's the part I hate so many small parts lol, I don't really know what to look at as well, or anything to compare it to to see if it's damaged

Will give it a go either way, only learn from trying

only things that wear is the surfaces that run along each other and bearings, just look for blueing of the material where things have got hot rubbing, wear marks, when u have the cases apart you may aswell do the gearbox bearings aswell for the price it costs only cheap ull have a new condition engine

conrod kit  £45

mains £40

small end, piston kit & re- bore £65

gaskest & seals £30

g/box bearings £20

oil £5

good as new

failing that ill do the ful rebuild for £50 just supply the engine and the parts

crank rebuilds are £25 at my local place

biggrin

I may take you up on that mate, or if you could show me and I will sort you the cash out I want to learn but worst thing I can imagine is putting it back together and then it getting destroyed because I have done something wrong, been there with other stuff...

May be a while yet hopefully won't go for a long time :)

The caliper and disc need to match the forks if you don't want to start mocking up brackets

What forks you got?

Well I thought it was nearly complete..

Ended up falling off, minimal damage but needed new fender and grips..

Got a new headlight, fully legal and lights up the road unlike the last one

Then decided to loose the hand grips. might get some at a later date but would definitely be solid blue.

Went to bassets pole with Nath, well we tried except I wired the headlight wrong so had no front light as it drained the battery - we completely missed the meet (25 miles north when setting off 20 miles from the west ftw) and then the engine decided to die...

Roadside pictures!

Puncture much?

So seeing as the engine needs re building took the opportunity to do full re build (again) this time getting a nice powder coated frame - not one that's got patches of hammerite everywhere

Got home from work today and started this at 5, finished by 8 was pretty pleased with the time it took to be honest, will let the pictures do the talking

Aftermath...

So now it's all shoved inside, I have some more goodies to put on and more to come. Will update shortly :)
