Aye spot on with the bottom one Talcum, you need the mesh or you'll have them flapping against the force of the wind against it, and possibly bending then breaking off. but I suffer terrible with numb fingers after about 20 mins of riding. So need to sort something sharpish.
Nope. Wasted my time. In all fairness though he was quick enough to issue a refund. But still. 21 days to advertise something any not even have it for sale. Not on!
Aye a pan scrub will do it, those impregnated with soap good too, gets the crap off nicely, but still use T=cut to make em shine, some use Autosol, but T-cuts cheaper.
That scratch will come out with wet n dry, you'll not know its been there once you've polished it.

Only problem is I've taken on another couple of projects, will post up a progress thread when I finally get them started and with my final year of uni I really have no time at all - if early next year I get some free time I will invest some time into the old girl again :)
Another thing, the rear spokes look crap I think the DTX excel rims both use stainless spokes, but by the looks of it on the WRX it's only the front ones..
Anything I can do or use to try and shine them up? Bearing in mind some have started to surface rust a bit
Got my mates DT and robbed some renthal grips and ZETA bar ends off (as well as the throttle tube)
Decided to have 15 minutes polishing the dep end can, even with this little amount of time the results were amazing. Compared to the spare one I have the differences are damn decent.
Going to make the spare I have into a stubby one, is it literally grind it down and re rivet the end bit back on?
