Oh aye talking of walkthrough vids/pics, thought we could do with someone doing a vid/pic set of setting up the powervalve system properly, for both the 3 wire and 5 wire, as people are still getting it round their necks using the dt125r.net site, (cross cables, don't cross cables etc) and maybe Norfe doing a post re-bore walk through/pic set, including the running in, as theres a fair few lads having re-bores, getting the stuff back from machining, and struggling to get stuff set up properly. What you lads say?

I deffo thinkt here should be a section that gets updated all the time with new picture reviews, videos etc of stuff that people most find problems with.

Well powervalve, and barrel re-bore are two that spring to mind, another possible one could be bleeding and setting up the oil pump.

Already done it Gadge, Norfe was saying he couldnt see it properly, so I sorted it so it was bigger,
Bradders, Sean could have it back when I've done mate, its of no use to me mate whatsoever. he'd need to re-wrap it mind. I'd just strip it right back, to the wires, then cable tie it back up so as to keep where all the junctions are. then map it all out.

The rust is inside the dtr rims ,no rust here mate these are AliI know they won't stay shiny coz they will oxidise again real quik but I had to give em a fighting chance, the front is brand new so I had to try and Match the back one ,out came the autosol and buffing wheel on a drill ,I think it came out ok ,took about an hour tho,,,,did all the measuring last night so it's just powder the hubs and lace them

Ok so I eyed up the spokes thru the new rim and I think it's all good ,I am gonna have to work out the new angles thru the rim but ain't too shoddy as a starting point ,well happy ,I have had some good luck with these ,and yam decided to put the rim centre over the hub centre so is a good set to learn on
