noticed few topics about electric start with little or no answers

 

does anyone know what parts and what work is required to fit an electric start to a dtr any help is welcomed thanks in advance

not too much mate.

Obviously starter motor.

I don't know specifics. Someone here has done it though.

It is possible since the TDR has a starter motor. Or the TZR. One of them. Also the RE has the same engine but with the leccy.

the dtr cases arnt machined to fit the starter motor theres no holes for the bits to go in ull need a starter motor equipped cases just get a newer engine complete and fit that be cheaper and less hassle in the long run

To be fair better off with the kickstart anyway. Much more reliable.
