cant seem to stop it, but when i take choke off bike, it dies, anyone know why thats happening?

sumets up with the mixture, may be an air leak.mine did same was crank seals pal

Have you tried cleaning the pilot jet?

tried 2 carbs from working dt's so i dont think its pilot, got new airfilter in, and done seals/gaskets but its still doing it :(

Check inlet rubbers for any leaks I had a split in mine

Sounds like crank seals mate had the same problame tried everything before I found the problame

Aye usual culprit is the left hand side one, get the magneto casing off, and with the bike running spray some wd40 near where the seal is, see if it races, if it does, then thats your problem

Mine does it too, replaced the split inlet rubber and didn't fix it

Just thinking, if it is the crank seal will not sorting it cause any further damage? I just adjusted the throttle cable and it's fine to ride but would rather it didn't blow up again
