Hi guys

im planning on fitting some boyesen power reeds and a RAMAIR pod filter at the weekend, Ive already got the full DEP system on it. Was wonder which jet size to go for? im at sea level, was thinking of a 240, 250 & 260 mainjet and 27.5 pilot.

Any experts on here willing to share some knowledge?

So I jetted my bike today, ran out of light so ended up with a 240 main an 27.5 pilot running pretty well. The needle needs adjusting tho as mid rad is a little boggy. Top end could do with a tweak too so if the needle doesn't fix it ill go for a 250 main.

Thanks for the link btw, i used the guide t'was good :)

Didnt end up fitting the pod filter, i've read too many damning posts about 1. getting them setup & 2. getting water in them.

What do you guys think about using pod filter in a day to day run around?

glad it was of use biggrin every bike is different as they say,you have to find your own way. not a fan of pod filters, but i ride a lot off road. used to have a tsx 125 back in the day, with a ram air filter on it. every time it rained i ended up pushing it home no

OK I'll try having a fiddle see if I can get her running smooth.

Next question how do I get the throttle cable out from the needle assembly? I can see a little green tab which moves but doesn't seem to release the cable :s. I really heavy handed an don't want to break anything.

Cheers again fellas

Snipe nosed pliers should do it, theres a tab on one side sticking up, remember which way round and dont put it back in upside down either, as its a pig to get hold of without the tab showing
