I love it, theres videos of it as well on youtube, 2007dtx is his youtube name if anyones intrested, see the twin fmf pipes. Question is what type of paint is that to come out like that, surely not rattle cans??

Indeed, I've been messaging him on the Portuguese forum but there's a bit of a language barrier, wanted to know the type of paint which was applied to the panels but he says he took it to a paint shop, ink and white pearl?? Wonder what he means by ink, see i have no idea what type of paint would be used by a professional body shop bloke on plastic fairings?? As if I go white I want it to last and its not like you can get a full set of dt125re/x panels in white

that is one of the best dts i've seen.but does splitting the exhaust cause problems? i thought two strokes needed the proper back pressure or they would not run !i have seen a couple of twin pipers on here but how do they run.when i was thinking of getting a 180 runner a write up on exhausts mentioned a twin pipe set up for a 50cc scooter and while it looked good it killed for performance

i think the back pressure is more important as the gas leaves the expansion pipe into the small thin bit of the exhaust, the end cans are more for actual noise reduction , if you look at some road racing two strokes from the 70s they had no end cans but were incredibly loud.
