Be nice to have something like this sat in the garage, the 3sh Italia model would be even nicer

Ah fair enough. TDR would be interesting. If not something jap. If it were me I'd grab myself a project 4DL to restore.

I've finally found the last piece for my 4HW cylinder kit. Importing it from Italy.

Also found the correct boost bottle for the 4DL engine. That too is coming from overseas. Either Germany or Italy. I think the postage is costing more than the item lmao!

TDR looks a bit like the Honda Dominator. Would rather a Dominator IMHO

Really? Honda dominator?

Heavy four stroke that doesn't really push that much BHP. Reliable as the earth I suppose. But TDR's are cracking bike.

The Dominator would be more powerful, surely? Least the one I had was. Just go in second then full throttle it and it'll be doing a wheelie. Was all good for about 90MPH. Handling was shocking in the rain, would just spin up past 4K RPM. biggrin

Looks tidy. Is that the spare engine? Or the one you had in it, the one the chain came off on?

also i transferred the barrel and piston over as they had done around 1200 miles- the spare engine has another barrel with brand new piston kit on 1mm oversize to be fitted when i finished swapping the case.
