Well it should be a little bit difficult to start initially. Don't see why it shouldn't run. Obviously if you've flushed the bottom end out it won't have any oil in it. You did make sure you put plenty oil down the bottom end didn't you?

Lots of two stroke every where yeah?

yeh lots of two stroke in the crank case loads in the bore and in the tank and in the oil container and when it started it smoked lol

Are you sure you put the piston in with the arrow on top facing forward towards the exhaust port

You've probably just fouled the plug. Get a new iridium one in there mate. That'll sort it out. Hopefull.y

you'll not need to touch the powervalve until you go over 1.5 IIRC

Aye took mine for its MOT today, was nice to be able to blow the cobwebs off it, looking forward to spring, and the better weather.

Are you sure mate. The bores go up in stages of 0.5mm not 0.25mm. If that's the case then you've got no compression. Since you won't be able to get piston that size so you'll just have bugger all compression.

if it had the wrong piston it would shake itself to death haha, only needs to be slightly worn and out of tolerance to knock like a mother****er haha

id take the left side casing off and the spark plug out and turn the engine over by hand, can feel if anythings wrong like bearings or its seized, should be nice and smooooth
