Can't find any. If you get the spring like it is in the pic. The other end of the spring clips round the claw. You should be able to work it out so it is under tesion, so it will return when the clutch lever is let go.

just checked on my spare engine and its fairly easy to do by hand, take the clutch push road arm out and put the spring on that first then put it back in the hole, then just push the other part of the spring around and down abit until it goes on

yeah, if its the head is warped or whatever when engine reaches operating temperature and everything expands it will probably start blowing/leaking again, is it a genuine yamaha gasket or a pattern one?

Literally an hours job to skim that head. And that's if you don't know what you're doing. Once it's all apart it shouldn't take you longer than 5 minutes. But the whole job I.e. taking it all apart. An hour.

yeah its easy to skim it callum but from the way the air was escaping in his video it must be seriously warped or something else is wrong, can you imagine some gasket sealer trying to hold in the pressure of combustion at 10k rpm, wouldnt last 5 minutes haha

We've already explained how to skim the head. Won't cost you more than a fiver to do it yourself.

I really don't understand what the problem is. It will cost you more in the long run. You say you're skint but you're more than willing to throw good money away at bodges.

You have got to keep trying mate, If you just got a bit of glass and some WD40 you would be able to tell if the head is warped, cause if you spray it on the glass and put the head on it then lift the head it should leave a perfect outline on the glass.

This was me skimming my head.

As cal says a fiver. If you get your heads clean like that and a new gasket they shouldnt leak.

800 grit pape WD40 and some decent glass, that's the only hard bit getting the glass.

There you go mate. That's exactly how I would do it. Apart from I would stick the paper flush with the glass. But apart from that that's what I did.

I was trying to tape it down but my tape wasn't sticking cause of all the WD40 so I bashed on. Would make the job a lot better taped down cause I was doing this one handed holding the paper.

That head gasket dont look like its in genuine Yamaha packaging, so dont look genuine. Where u get it from ? Possibly an Athena gasket ?

Why didnt you just get the head gasket from the Yamaha dealer when you got the base gasket ?

Genuine gaskets will come with a label like this one on the packaging.
