I've had this talk with my insurance company, they will only pay on a model, year, climate type equation. But they will increase there estimate value on proof of monies spent (receipts) and a quick inspection of bike post claim. They will insure the speedo also. I'm not 100% happy but only got 3 months left on policy .... I am autolubin and haven't sorted me pump out yet, but the bike will bleed itself if u use a litre of premix :)
You 100% sure on that and know the correct mixture? I wouldn't rag the tits out of it whilst running premix, because if its lean it'll overheat. It's 40ML to a litre I think, not 100% sure, never premixed my DTR.

Cheers for concern boxing but I've done it twice before :) nev is like a walking dt125 Haynes manual. He recites paragraphs like Christians do the bible.... Watch this for a party trick....
Ere nev what's on page 89 of the dt125 haynes manual. No cheating tho...
Yesterday after work I fitted a back brake, new chain, front sprocket and bleed the brake :) pick up front brake bracket today from engineers, so will prob try starting her on Sunday
well if your rear sprocket is massive like you see to be making it out to be then yeah expect it to go about 60, 50 if its been setup for pure acceleration (normally little scrotes which constantly do twát laps around town tend to do it lol) If at 50 its revving at like 10/11/12k in like 4th then it will be the sprocket setup most likely.....

That rear sprocket is tiny compared to my DTR one... That might be why mine tops out at 50MPH... Hmm, might buy new sprockets and chain.
most likely lol,. unlessv it could do with a top endrebuild
Had a top end rebuild about a thousand miles ago, checked the piston when I stripped it down, still in immaculate condition. I think it lies in the sprockets now, the owner said it had new sprockets, probably the wrong ones for top speed.

So piston is good... What about bore? Have u had a pressure test?
got the bracket back from the engineer, got my measurements correct as the disc sits exactly central to the caliper, replacing the fork seals and bushes then will start building again....
Today rim tape on, cleaned up my big one expanny as a temp exhaust, 2nd coat on bottom yoke, just waiting for forks to be finished then I'm about 6 hours away from having a complete bike :)
