No, no problems, the other weekend was a mock up, had no brakes, front wheels spacers, brake brackets and so much more. Should have done all this on Sunday but was suffering from to much alcohol
Finally started the bike yesterday, took about 2/3 mins of kicking. Left her running for 20 mins and checked the plug, all seams ok... Won't be able to tell till I've been out riding in her tho. Now need to get my forks sorted then im done :)
started the bike today and its really smokey, checked oil pump settings and set up correctly, i did premix for a litre but run that through yesterday, u think it might have settled in the tank and just blasting it through today, plug is oily too...
started the bike again today, second kick, sounding better everytime, still alittle smokey from the exhaust. just waiting for forks from slinky (posting friday i hope) then can start to assemble the front. after seeing cals bar mounts, i thinking i would like some of them also... so looking into bars and mounts for next months update. also want a halo headlight and sm front mudguard. soon have my bike on the road just, at last.
Forks here today I hope, need to get some oil in them and fitted, I am desperately hoping the custom bracket from my 91 forks still fits the 95 forks I have coming, checked the part numbers across the two years and it all matches, hub disc and brake... So fingers crossed, then I have a few little bits till she is MOT bound... And the bike starts first or second kick Every time now :) so happy with that too lol
The bikes on its feet and running sweet as a nut. Norfe has done an excellent job, real pro that man. Need a horn, seat cover, Afew more bolts, wire headlight and Afew more snags and then mot
Running in is frustrating lol. Im on 170 miles now and started going up to about 6k in revs what miles are you on shauny?. Will wait till I hit 300 miles before i hit the powerband.
Done 47, been letting her warm up for 10mins before every ride, I ride it very conservatively for 10 mins then ride too a max of 6k. Just mailing sure I shift up and down the gears. Wait till 300 miles till I start to rag it.
