I'm finally going to start putting this back together next week. I need to 2 pack the frame forks and swinging arm but they are all bare metalled and ready to do. Everything else is cleaned boxed up and ready to go.

Heres a pic for everyone who likes shiny bits lol..........

Not enough time in the week with working on my old aircooled DT,s lately but managed to sort the engine today and a few other bits n bobs. Redone the swinging arm and forks in Ford Stratos Silver spot on to the original, 1mm oversize rebore new Makita piston kit small end bearing and gaskets. Redone the clutch and flywheel covers " Rover gunmetal grey thanks Nev"

Not sure if I will do it White/Red, Black/Peppermint Green or Red/Silver Grey yet.

If I can find the missing elusive decal I will, there wasn't many Red ones about when they were new in 1990 never mind now. I wouldn't care but I had it and sold it to Mr Karnage on here. He said he has put them into a sticker place to get them copied but that was a while ago.

Yeah but you know it would be worth it. I'm not sure it would get its true appreciation from an average buyer.

You will find any graphic if you know where to look(most of mine came from france).

Nice score on that tank (now thats a really rare find) Scrim and that last graphic.

I really like that black and blue set.

The Black and Blue are for an 89 G reg just need the bike to put them on lol.........., there is not many old decals left in France now and no full sets. I had to get the Black/Peppermint Green side panel decals copied from the original White/Red ones I had. Been looking for ages and will probably never come across them. Looks like I will do it White/Red, its what it was originally and its all there ready to go with White.

Finally 2K,d the frame subframe and rear footpeg hangers White for this today so looks like its staying White/Red. If I didn't have a DT125LC MK1 and DT175MX tank that needed doing White it would still be stuck in the corner. Might get it half put back together one day this week.

Are the clocks brand new displaying 0 miles? Or do you look at the last MOT (if possible) and put the miles as the last MOT?

The clocks aren't new there used with 11k miles on, I have no old MOT and I haven't a clue what the original mileage was.
