Yeah I had this and an 83 IT490K on at the same time, I sold the DT before the auction ended though.

Just been through all 7 pages and I aint put this up. There is some pics of it here and there on posts. No pics of the rebuild its self as you take em apart skin your knuckles, then u spend all your money on parts, then u put em back together and skin your knuckles again........

I love a challenge anyway.

Thanks mate, I don't really do a lot of DTR,s but people are starting to wanting the very early ones now in as new original spec. I usually do the Air cooled older DT,s IT,s and YZ,s. Mind you I aint done any since these 2 where finished. I tend to collect parts that u cant buy any-longer first for a few months then complete a few bikes all at the same time.
