Thanks cal, yeah those fenders are awesome.
Yeah that would look nice, like a stealth DT haha I was thinking of doing it the same colour again but I'll think about black.

Quick update. Recently sprayed my panels didn't do the best job but oh well :L, put some rim tape on turns out it wasn't for the right size wheels. Here's some pics.

The 520 is a nice conversion. Gives you a lot longer life.

Been a while since i've been on, made a few small changes since then.
Dep end can snapped so I bought an athena off ebay for about 70 quid.
Miss having a stubby though

Also got a handlebar mount for my phone.

Really like it cause there's a speedo app with your best speed, 0-60, how many miles you've done etc.
Great for gps too.

Gave the wheels a good clean and replaced the excel stickers for mirror ones.

Yeah think i'll stubby the pipe it's just rivets like on the dep end can so should be the same. I'd get a dep expansion if I had the money :/

Your DEP must have had the exhaust padding took out.

My Athena silencer was garbage. Sounded like a DEP with no sound wadding.

It didn't actually we repacked the exhaust when stubbying it was surprised there was no sound difference. But i've stubbied the athena end can now and god is it loud in the powerband, sounds really nice. I'll try and get some pics up soon.

Bought a dep pipe for 90 pounds, great condition about a year old. Also stubbied my athena end can.

Next thing should be a set of dtr forks as i've almost finished making up the bracket for the brake caliper.

If you're running #240 main jet, there's no need to upjet with the DEP expanny.

Least that's what I was told on here.

BTW I noticed you still have gotten them fork socks.

And what rear fender is that? biggrin

Also does anyone know anything about upjetting when you've got a dep expansion chamber? I've heard you need to put a 240 jet in, and I think i've still got the standard size.

Depending on year the #240 is the standard main jet.

Just a quick update on some things i've done.

Got an mx stand off ebay, really useful.

(i know the chain's loose i had just had the wheel off)

Then picked up some dtr forks from a DT breaker near me, think he might be on the forum actually.

Changed the dtx forks to the dtr ones.

Some pics after I finished fitting them.

Prefer them alot more than the dtx forks. Quite a fair bit higher at the front now.

Also got a new one industries helmet off ebay and blue mirror lens goggles :D

And the most recent change was sorting out my clutch as it was almost impossible to get into neutral. So my dad helped me file down the clutch basket and it works like a dream now :)

Looks like these may be the last changes on my bike because next tuesday i'm hoping to sell it and then sometime after get a gas gas ec 250/300
