The Go Pro is a nice camera. It has built ip a good reputation gor a reason. I wouldn't slate it , however for the amount I use mine I agree maybe the S J os the better choice. But I like having the branded gear.

You were riding in shorts and t-shirt? Bet you was in heaven. Feels great on the arm pits. And on the balls if you open your legs out. :D

Wouldn't dream of doing it when going flat out though.

Yeh shorts and t-shirt is heaven, I took my gsxr out in short's no shirt before 120+ lol.

Sometimes it's just too hot for my leather's, although can't say id recommend not wearing them as they saved my ass when an idiot pulled out on me.

Not a chance, most leathers now are perforated so if you take the lining out you wont overheat when you are moving. No excuses, i know more than most what it's like to come off. i wouldn't not wear my leathers

Ever considered buying some Kevlar jeans? Pretty much like normal jeans and cool, but have some padding around the knee caps and hips. Not as likely to get gravel rash either.

Gear is a subject most bikers could go on about all day long. Some will wear it, all the time. Others won't wear it at all. I personally think it's down to the rider. Although, personally, if I'm just going down the road, I'll be tempted to just wear protective bottoms and boots. And stick to 30MPH limits. However if I'm going far, or down a 60MPH limit I'll whip all the gear on. I mainly have all the gear on as I hoon around country lanes.

Although only on rare occasions have I gone without any gear. Will never even consider riding without protective gloves though. I cringe when I see bikers without gloves, won't even be able to nosh one out in a 30MPH off without gloves.

P.S my gear has saved me from a couple of tickets. The dibble pull over a young lad, see him in full decent protective gear and think of you more as a mature person rather than a kid with no idea. Even had them following me with dodgy lights and just told me to sort my light out and let me go. Always run my plate through though, so always make sure I'm legit. biggrin

On the road i'd wear the most protective clothing there is if i got my hands on it, a little bit of discomfort and people get all cranky? Haha but i surpose i compensate but focusing all my attention on the road and what going on around me rather than being abit hot or a little itchy
