Toy remember that discussion on your page in February. Turns out you're right, the feds just pick on Supermoto / Enduro riders. Pulled over twice within a month or so period. Once a marked unit for my rear light (wires fell out as they were too short, only the brake light worked. Sorted now) and then just a random stop and check for going "slow" I was warming it up and doing 30MPH, never heard such bollocks in my life.

Kept me for ten minutes going over my bike top to bottom. Checked tyres and were moaning about my L plate. And checking if I was using my bike to commute when my insurance clearly states "social and pleasure" only. Hah, I know all this so ain't dumb enough to give them ammunition to do me.

Luckily they didn't check my front brake at the time, hah. Would of had me bent over and be doing me with no lube.

Fitted tail tidy, just need to do the indicators now. And I'm full of a damn cold. Oh well, will still be going out for a ride in a minute though haha.

Chopped the loom all the way back to where it splits near the battery connectors (under the seat) and put in the new leads. Was on bullet connectors, got rid of them and soldered it straight into the loom. Then insulated all the solders with water proof loom tape.

Feds. Pulling me over for any old rubbish. L plates was one of them excuses, so whacked one in clear view.

Well, as some may know I've had the bike in storage in a house. Going to get it out soon. Been sitting for about 5 or 6 months, going to whip the carb off clean it all up, new transmission oil and a new headlight bulb (high beam popped and never got around to fixing it) then whip her through an MOT. Got to get a reflector for the number plate as well.

Worst case scenario I'll need a new carb as all the screws are stuck and won't move so can't adjust tick over etc. Should have done it ages ago, but never got around to it. Hah. I'll just drop it off to a mechanic and let him clean it out, too fiddly for me. Why keep a dog and bark yourself? ;)

Coolant should still be fine? Or should I put fresh in?

Got to order a right rear panel as well, will just order straight from Yammy. Mine fell off on country lanes and despite searching them high and low, couldn't find it. Freshly resprayed as well :(
