bud i wish you someone would have mentioned that before :( i wasnt sure how it would look and i have sold it :( it went in like 2 hours since listing, I got it from aliexpress, maybe i should start selling them on ebay. they are std woltage just the same like the ones from polisport, i actually ended up getting polisport mmx, i think it would look more mean with it, but i can always change it in the future :) get one and let me see how it looks :)

Big progres over the last 2 days. Got the wheels nearly done. Engine in. Most of wiring loom hooked up. Rear suspension on. And it works this time :) its finally starting to look good20130921_185103.jpg20130921_145013.jpg

Haha. Still got some electrical problem. No power anywhere but engine spins when shortened on the solenoid. Will leave that untipp the bike is at least standing in the wheels ;)

Really like it, that chain guard runner thing will spray orange paint flakes everywhere thats why I never done mines.

yep i did pray the disc :) 1 run and it would be clean. yep i shouldhave left the guard but well :) still need to modyfy the hpires to fit the dtx. any ideas for the front fender?

I will be keeping an eye on the hipres mod, how are you going to do it? when I looked I thought it would be dificuilt to do it properly, those rear fenders on the x will have to be modded loads.

the fender itself has to be cut down on the sides the same way the original is to match the siide panels. hopefully it will come out alright

the paint will come out nicely after the 1st ride. but it turns out the engine needs a crank done ;/

no its floping all around sideways, and alot of uo and dow n play. when i bought the bike when i removed the exhaust it had a hole in the crankcase, so previous owner musthave run it without the oil in. the reason im thinking for another bottom end . as this one is fked so what about the rest of the bearings in the engine. if i score a cheap bottom end i will go for that and get this one rebuilded for the future

not to sure about the hpires anymore. i have chopped the original and hpires and mergem them together need to redo it as its not too straight and than cleand it up etc filll it up and reinforce from the bottom but it looks like there is going to be some frame chopping20131009_180151.jpg

instead of cutting the frame i ordered some fibreglass and going to get it all reshaped to fit like new without showing the frame but still staying pointy

had my first ever go with fibergllass and its not that bad but still looks like the frame is gonna go :) still alot of sanding anf filling ahead.

Yeah good conversion so far. I take it that stuff just sands down to a nice smooth finish. I would do the same on mines but my paint is to good after it was done professionally. Good work.

get another chepo fender from ebay and mess with it, if you want i have got a yz 125 rear fender cut in half as its slimer than the dt is. but you can have it and mess with some fiberglass with that, i have got the front fender from a yz if anybody wants it, all you have to do is cover the p&p

i still dont know what to do with the frame thats sticking out at the back. cut it off , paint it black hmmm, maybe i will drill it up and put indicators there but than the plate might cover them up heh.
