Welcome to the forum Max. A man in Germany would be very useful to us on the forum. You guys seem to really know what you are doing with this style of engine and bike. I've also got a WR200 / DT200WR which you can find in the other bikes section. It is a project and still needs alot of work. It has been like this for a couple of years now as I have not had the time to finish it.
I also have a TZR125RR Belgarda 4DL which appear to be very popular in Germany too? I'm planning on building a TZR350 with an RD350 YPVS engine that I have bought recently.
I'm considering buying a TZR125 4DL Frame from eBay Germany but am struggling to find someone who will send one to the UK. I don't know if you would be interested in helping me with this at some point?
I have done a fair amount of research into the WR200 / Dt200WR bikes and so have found almost every website on the net with info on them. Thats not to say I know it all but if you need any help or advice then please feel free to contact me.
The most important website i found was an American parts retailer called PowerSportsPlus or Partzilla who stock WR200 Genuine Yamaha Parts for very good prices. If you need anything I would check there before anywhere else. You generally cant beat New Genuine Yamaha!
Anyway, I am going to go and have a look through your blog now. Keep us updated! I speak a little German but it seems your english is far better than my german so I wont embaress myself by trying!
One more thing, one of your guys is getting right on my nerves so If you could tell him to stop it, it would be good. His name is S.Vettel. Thanks :P
Just had a quick read through your blog and its clear you are going to be a much valued member of the forum! You really know your stuff. The google translate is not the best at translating between the languages so some parts are difficult to understand. If you or someone else was able to translate into better english I'm sure many of the guys on this forum would be extremely grateful. I know I would!
Have you got a TMX35 carb? I have one that I do not need that you could have or even as spares. Cover the shipping costs and for a minimal cost you can have it.
Thanks for that welcome! My english is not perfect but i think its good enaugh to understand what we are talking about.
@dread123 I gonna do that! Feel free to take a look time to time on the blog. All information will be given there
@AndyYam
I know the problem... Lack of time is not good...But sometimes u have to gather up and set you a challange ;) If you think about to Drop ur projekt... Feel free to contact me... I'm still searching for another WR 200 Engine.
The TZR Modells are in germany (In comparison to other 125 2Stroke Race Bikes) not so popular... Most people buy the Hoda NSR 125 or the Aprilia RS 125. But that dont means that they are very rar....
Take a look on this Website :
Here you should find a lot of stuff and Bikes. BTW Check your PM Box ;) The Mikuni Parts would be usefull !

I know google Translator is not perfect.... If there are any questions feel free to ask i can translate serval parts. Sometimes it should help to enter a single word to Google translator because there are some parts still german.
Cheers Max will give you a message. My 200 will never be leaving though :P They are quite rare over here and I really want to ride it. My engine numbers a "3xp" and that is it. There are no numbers. The Frame has numbers and shows it to be dt200wr but the engine is the 3xp with no oil pump so WR200.
There is a wr200 engine on ebay uk at the moment for £500. If that is in your budget and I can be any help then let me know. Not sure how but If it was too large in one piece to deliver to Germany then I could strip down and send across in parts for you or something.
Its sad to tell you that the WR 200 Engines are extreme rare in germany too. I can realy understand that you are happy enaugh if you have found one.
I have a 3XP too. Dont know wheather there are other WR200 Modell Codes. What i realy like is that i have an OIL pump. I hate to mix fuel / Oil because you have to carry it all the time to fuel station.
Yesterday i fit the second cooler to the bike (right sind in driving direction). Maybe i will upload the pictures today in the blog. I will give you the information if its online.
BTW Thanks for the eBay link. But i think its pretty expensive.... And he dont give mutch information about runtime, Cylinder ect.

£500.00 !
Is probably optimistic in the UK ? For an untested & a bit tired looking motor TBH !?
The price reflects the rarity value I guess ?
Would this motor slot straight into (mounting wise) one of the later RE bikes ???
Auto Lube ....
I'm not a fan & TBH I'm considering converting mine to PreMix, the pipe from the tank to the oil pump has always struck me
As being flimsy & in a bad spot for getting damaged off road !?
It's something I'm going to have to sort out over winter if I enter the RE in some Enduro Events next season ....
(I always consider entering enduros, next year, every year, about this time of year ...... But last year, and the one before...
... And the one before that .... And .... You get the picture !? ...

Hi and welcome to the forum. Nice 200 you have there would love to see what one was like, I need to get over to Germany so I am in beer heaven, never mind the bikes ha ha (just joking)....
Spoke to my local Yammy dealer. He's ordering in some Zeeltronic ignitions and said he'd order an extra one for me if I wanted to. Would save money on postage that way.
It sounds like just a generic bit of kit. That you need to wire up. But its cheaper than a New OEM cdi and has a mass of features as said.
When he gets them in stock i'll drop you the number. He's only getting four in and its in first come first serve. He's having one, i want one. So that leaves two left.
Like i said. If its legit then i'll give you the number for one. It's my local bike dealership. They have a website so you can check it's authenticity.
