Its an cast iron sleeve. The grinding of the sleeve is only in one direction. I have to give the cylinder away to get a clear 45° cross cut.
I payed 600 Euro for the Engine and 140 Euro for the shipping. I think its okay. To buy a new piston because of the new cross cut is sad...what an idiot who runned the engine the first one or thwo miles without...
Ah yeah i forgot to add the postage lol. Sounds about fair now id say.
There is mid-late 90's 2 stroke wr250. Essentially a YZ250 with a wide ratio gearbox ( which is what WR stands for). A similar story as the wr200. not hugely produced or popular at the time.
My GoPro broke this weekend. Amazon payed money back today and i ordered a new one again.
I hope i will be able to Film the Dyno Test Run on GoPro... Would be awesome!
Is that all? I would have thought you'd get more than that from a WR200 engine, I don't think I'll be too far behind you when I get my Hybrid on a dyno.
Like i write in my blog over 40 PS were possible but i like to ride the engine like a "all day ride" on the street too. It should not crash after a few miles. Original power on paper of wr 200 is 35 ps at crank... but this is on paper... normal will be 32 to 33 PS. I got 5 PS more than stock with wide power band. Im happy!
The next engine i build up will be a higher Power version, keep eyes up!

The irony is that I didnt understand what you were saying so googled it to find out. When nothing came up I guessed you meant to say that you didnt understand.
yeah, front wheel slides away i don't know why it was really stupid!
Was not the only crash happened. At the end of the Second day i wanted to clamp up a hill and .... yeah it goes wrong. My friend filmed it with his go pro, i will get the video soon!
Now the FMF Pipe has a little dent. But im glad thats not too bad. Only on the left side and not in the resonance zone
