i blew my dt up ... but i fixed it.... Then i crashed it.... but i didnt fix it right and 2 scouser's come in the middle of the night and left me with a working bike
The bad thing about it is, the lad works in iceland and the bike is round the back where the lorrys come in so its a busy ish area and no one saw

stearing locks in my mind should not be used they break like cheese and damage sometimes damage the ignition better to leave them of and just use a bloody good chain and lock/s to something they can not move .
anyone who puts any faith in to any bike stearing lock wants smacking with naths 2" tool .
and yeah they will keep returning or tell mates about it till they do get it of that you can be sure .
I know I've said this a million times. The exact thing happened to me. I was lazy and didn't lock it up properly and paid the consequences. Happens for a reason mate. I would never had supermoto'd my dt if it didn't mate. I always wanted to keep it original. But after it got nicked I needed to swap out parts and other parts were just hard to get. So I didn't bother with original.
I was lucky to get it back. I appreciate that. But now I will never leave without my cumbersome locks.
I'm surprised they didn't take that Pulse. Must have been disturbed or something to not take it. Literally two wires and them Pulse's are off up the road. Use the same wiring on all of them. Just change the colour codes in certain models. Usually change the earth or live for a green wire instead of a black / red one.
Where have you posted pictures of your bike saying it's stolen?
Surely you have a "SPOTTED" page in your area / county? If so post bike pictures all over them and keep going back to check.
If my bike got nicked I'd post it on all the Spotted pages in surrounding areas as well. Not unusual for thieves to venture out of their estate for bikes. Near me usually an estate or two away, bring it back to their area where they feel safe and begin joyriding it for the next few days, soon as its got a puncture or engine is on its last legs, burnt out or dumped.
Definitely worth asking about on spotted pages. Treat any information with a pinch of salt though. Main stuff you want to hear is where and when it was spotted. If it was spotted again in same area at different time, chances are thieves are from around there and riding it there.
Post to other bike forums as well. The more people that you can attract the chances are some of them know something about it. If the friends of the thieves see it they'll be warning them so they'll be scared.
P.S don't forget to post date and times it was likely stolen. Hopefully a commuter will of seen them riding it.

i like this post mdk i shal copy it and spam the internet :)
yeah the more you spam it around the better the chance . even if just by some old lady who looks out the bedroom window and sees a bike like it in the neighbours garden .
I did the same for some one local for a bmw f650gs dakar with out the owner knowing I got many many sightings of it and some always on the same road or field I passed that info on to the owner and with in days it was found hidden in some woods near the sightings. shop owners -pub landlords-and dog walkers all sent me sightings and info .
trick is to get that image in to peoples heads then when they are out and about and see a bike or any bike that is anything like yours they will maybe then think back to your post and send you info .. along with some one like us who is just out buying parts could be offerd or buying something and again spot it or something from it that could all then lead back to who where and when .
another good idea is a youtube video like this one realy simple to do and again could get lots of views not sure if your anygood with youtube or vids if you wish I or one of the lads could do one and post it on our accounts with your email on the video ?.
if it was me I would get to the point that when anyone types the words dt -dtr-125 in to google they would see one of my posts
Yeah I got it back 3 weeks later Paid £120 to get it out the police pound smashed to peices. Justice was served, made me proud to live in such a fair country.
Spam all the local FB pages around your area. But put your name up or some way of contacting you, as chances are the thief is probably in the group as well so they won't name publicly.
The more you do it the more chances of seeing it again. Especially with how distinctive it is!
Also I highly doubt the thieves will bring it to their house, unless they've changed bits around and got rid of VIN's because most of them are known to the police so they sniff around their addresses all the time.
If you get sightings of it look around the bushes around there, look for track marks going into bushes as well usually a good indication a bike is/was in there.
You want to get a high number of views on different sites. The more the better, because if it gets back to the thieves they'll be scared about selling the parts or riding it again.
Personally, I doubt it'd be stripped down. Not worth that much money in parts, will just switch the wheels and sell it as a field bike IMHO.

agree with above post .. I think the first things that could be seen for sale or changed would be the wheels or tyres and any other road gear like clocks indicators or lights .
and he is right I know I keep saying it but found it to be a fact no one will give info openly so leave some way they can contct you with out being known mobile-email- ect on all adverts you post.
i agree too. its just in london there aint many fields around, the closest estate from me its about 3 miles away so i doubt they have pushed it back all the way there without being spoted. there is a litle housing estate around a corner but looked there alredy and seen nothing, some guy just emaild me saying that hethinks he seen my bike on swapz i have looked at it but it was an old shape and not even close to mine

They wouldn't have pushed it, once it was off your front they would have wired it. Two minute job, would have done it behind a van or in a alley way. Then started it with the electric start and rode off.
