been calling police for the past 3 days. guess what 3 weeks and the investigating **** still has not bothered to get the cctv with the theft on it to tey to recognise the guy, he tried once the house and there was nobody in so he just left it, no wonder the bikes get stolen so much if the police cannot be bothered to even go and check the cctv

The police really aren't bothered. Told you this on the first page.

The only time the police care is if it's a burgs. That way they can get them a nice sentence in jail, if it's a bike took of the front there's next to nothing they can do...

well but if they at least could bother. if he was standing outside my house for 1;30h and his face is on cctv its obviously someone local, if it was someone from further down they wnt be standing in unknown area for 1;30 hours i know i wdnt. so it might be some common thef but no let them fk around , wish they property was stolen

told ya I would have gone round all houses myself and asked for a copy of the cctv take a usb mem stick with ya takes them  mins to put it on stick  then take it home make a copy  or put it on dvd-cd and take it to police station yourself in a envelope with the coppers name on it and the crime number ect ect ...

gona be a kick in the balls if the film gets lost or deleted ......

The feds are useless. There's a reason why the majority of bikers hate the pigs. The feds only see motorbikes as maniacs who do 100MPH and wheelies everywhere. They aren't bothered about your bike being stolen, unless it's getting chased and they can't catch them. Only time I've ever seen the feds doing anything about bikes around my area where it's a common occurrence is when they're toying with them.

If the thieves have been riding it for the past three weeks might as well cut your loses that bike will of been ragged the two bells of shit out of.

They didn't buy it, they robbed it they aren't going to ride it like they're Driving Mrs. Daisy are they?

Probably ragged around, dumped in bushes or burnt out. Should have done something sooner, we told you to go out looking for it, you just left it to feds. Can't really offer any more advice as you didn't take any of ours. :|

story and videos are all over the net even if they catch them nothing is done

The CPS found it NOT in the public interest to further prosecute so abandoned the case. Essentially, this guy STOLE a motorbike and then got away with it because he committed a different crime.
Meanwhile, I recently got an arrest summons to my house because I was caught speeding doing 67 in a 50.

tip to this put ur cameras hight lol

this one is mental

They won't ride it near your house. Is there any fields or anything where bikes are known to be rode on and police are complaining about etc within about a 10 mile radius?

Ask police if there's been any reports of a black bike being rode around within the area as well. :)

They won't care about horses. I've seen three pit bikes going around a park with gypsies horses tied up there.

You tried posting it to

www.facebook.com/seeit.shareit

or

www.facebook.com/bike.watch.56

???

Not seen your bike on any of the stolen bike pages, so may be worth posting there. The more people that share it more the chances of them getting nabbed.

Just need a FB account and send them a message with photos added, and they'll post them up to the page. :)

Don't forget to add information of where it was stolen from etc etc. If you ain't seen it locally or had any leads on it from surrounding areas, I'm beginning to suspect it was your Gumtree ad that led to the theft. If so it could be miles away or stripped. no

we/I are always looking so at some point something will pop up ... I zoom in on everything looking for small specs of that orange paint lol . to many custome parts  so they can not hide it forever and even if we spot just a nut or bolt it may lead a trail back to the theif .

It all depends on how sophisticated the thief is.

If they buy a frame and logbook, they can sell it off as a legit bike, with the logbook. If they're lucky, can even get a HPI clear one and sell it for about £1,700.

Like here: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2003-YAMAHA-TZR50-TZR-50-MOTORBIKE-MOPED-STRAIGHT-FRAME-WITH-FULL-V5-/321312806463

Say thief had just stolen a TZR 50, next step buy a frame, then put all your parts from said stolen bike straight in and sell it for the going price of them.

That's why I disagree with the selling of frame and logbooks tbh. Most of them are just used to ring bikes. Most bike buyers don't even look for the serials on the engine. So just grind them off and spray some silver spray over, the buyer will just think "ah, can't find the serials" but will still hand over the £ as the frame serials are there and match.

Just my 2 cents on it.
