yz airbox to carb

Has anyone done this?  Had this idea for a long time

Basically when you fit a bigger carb you need a bigger airbox to carb rubber, the rear spigot is 60 mm and a yz125 88 measures 60mm

So may try thi,  can screw to airbox,

Think it would defiantly work, but there are 100's of potential rubber joints to use

I'd be interested in this. From the sounds of how things are for this summer I'll be needing a quick fix maybe just a standard air filter just to get the bike running,

Like MDK has said in previous posts, you'd be surprised if you saw some of the washing machine pump connecting rubbers, you'd think they were off a carb to airbox some of them

So heres the plan, I bought a 1989 airbox £16 delivered

I'm going to remove part of the original airbox as marked, there is a flat face underneath to bolt onto, I may a add a skin of plastic for an extra thickness,

Pictures say enough remove.jpg
