Ok finally had time to get on with my bike , snapped the thread on the choke so can't start it

My cdi came without the powervalve set up, so have come to the conclusion that 100% is closed and 0% is open, there are so many settings I don't understand yet,  but help appreciated :)

100% open. 0% closed.

Start opening around 6k fully open by 8K in equal steps. I set it so it's a straight line opening.

Boruts powervalve setting was not very good. I got mine from a Yamaha technician at Skellerns.

No so on mine I can have 8 different steps. Divide 2000 by 8 gives you the amount you need to increment it on each step. About 200 rpm for every step of the way till you reach completely open.

So not closed then 100 rpm later 100% open. Just a nice smooth line from fully closed to fully open using the steps as a guideline.

All bikes are different but it was just a nice guideline that let me set mine up properly.

Ah ryt. Not sure what you mean then. The Zeeltronic already knows how much to turn the PV by and it's not something you can  change on mine.

All you change is where in the rev range does this change.

On the settings you will find the closed position setting and the open position setting, that's what I did

Mine from borut is 200 closed and 640 open if thats any help. Im goin to check it though, the open position is easy but we dont have a mark or anything for closed. So im goin to take the pv cables off and get a good look at the servo to see how far it can turn then back off a tad.

I think mines wrong but sounds nice and loud like it's working ok,  but my powervalve is a wr200 so maybe works backwards

Yeah that's what mine does IIRC. I remember because I was sat there for an hour scratching my head F'ing and blinding.

It'll become apparently as soon as you ride it whether or not it's correct.
