I used an aggressive looking after market job, off ebay pal.

Think it was around 20 odd quid at the time, around two years ago or more.

I don't like the look of the acerbis ones, too bulky and not as aggressive as I like.

Why do you need to know anywho, are you just getting more shopping ideas to make your decision, or is there a specific reason?

I did. I think Ralzy and a few others have as well not too sure on names.

You'll need one of these on the number plate for it to pass a MOT / avoid a bollocking from the boys in blue.

best thing to do is cut the frame equal both sides and weld on new section to mount rear fender onto, the way i would go anyway

Looks bent sorry mate no good

Just won the bidding on a brand new OEM loom £39 +£10 pnp

Also won new looking clocks with 8k from the same seller for £34 +£10 pnp

Hopefully he/she will combine postage for me, so much for 4-500

Going to have sell off my spares i think cry

Just need a decent front light now/seat and I'm all done apart from a few nuts and bolt's

May takes Seb's advice if i can't find a decent seat for a good price soon

Going to SM this one now as it will fetch a higher price when it comes to selling up and i really can't afford to sell this for under 1500 now already owes me about 1700

So many new parts going into this now, should look really nice.

Soon as the new loom arrives i will start building it back up

The light ain't bent. The adjusting screws are just in lightly. So you tight them up to adjust the lights direction.

I thought you were having two DT's now you're selling one? confuse

There's a reason all the folks on here that have had projects have spent £2,000-£3,000. It costs that to make them mint once you start stripping you find all the bits to replace. no

Loom and clock's arrived today! Got tomorrow off so hopefully get a lot done.

Got a few part's left to clean, the rest just needs to go back on smile

Going to put a fresh top end on it too. Not sure about the bottom end, it's leaking from the right hand side casing so i will change that gasket/ new oil.

Think i will spray the casing while i have it off too.

Pic's of some shiny thing's, so happy about my new loom.

Got these for £25 on ebay while looking for a clutch case gasket, just need a oem head gasket

Got the brakes/ bracket's on. Went to do them loom but noticed the cdi wires have been cut.

Don't want to splice up my new loom so think i might just use the old one.

Put a new seal on that clutch arm, it's fine now not sure it was even leaking now.

Not far to go now

Thank's it really look's better than i expected. I did 2 coat's of hammerite gloss black.

No primer, it said apply straight to rust on the tin.

The swingarm didn't finish as good for some reason, had to do 3 coat's.

Might put those D&D stickers on it, not 100% sure yet though.

Spent the whole day putting it back together, really helped having two bike's when i got lost lol

Ran into electrical problems. The oil/neutral light and powervavle servo stopped working all of a sudden and the rear light isn't working hmm

Mocked up some panel's to take a pic, absolutely ruined the sticker on that new panel disbelief

Hopefully get the rear light and powervavle servo sorted tomorrow

p.s not using that mudguard just put it on for the photo

edit: can anyone recommend some matching paint to do flywheel cover and clutch case?

There was a lose connection on the negative wire going to the battery, this sorted the powervavle/oil/neutral light

The side stand sensor kill's the bike in neutral, so just going to wire it open.

This is probably why the rear light isn't working hmm

So progress... borrowed a soldering iron and some connector's from my uncle and sorted out the above pic.

Still no rear light though, now i'm thinking there is a break somewhere further down the loom.

Couldn't find my multimeter to check bleh

Will try again probably Saturday to get the rear light going.

Since I'm missing the rear mount for the mudguard i drilled into the seat and threaded it so i can just screw 2 m6's in from underneath.

Using the front light it came with for now, but do have a good con original one i will put on eventually.

Thing's left to buy cosmetically mirror's, seat, front mudguard, hand guards.

I fixed the oil leak by changing the gasket/drain bolt for one that fit's lol

Going to drop a barrel off for a re bore on Monday although I think i will rebuild the bottom end if i can afford to before it goes on.

It sound's pretty loud, so it's probably on it's way out

DT porn

You sure you've got the wires done correctly for the tail tidy? I tested mine out before even soldiering mine in...
