Make sure he posts it with recorded delivery. The DVLA are known to make other pay out in stupid fines for THEIR mistakes.

... A bit unreasonable when Toy is being perfectly reasonable. We're all human and make mistakes, he sent the wrong one, a genuine mistake. And he happens to be on holiday...

Wouldn't call 2 months to post a V5 reasonable but i guess that's my opinion( I did pm him about a month ago and ask if he posted it, but i got no reply).

Some good new's though, apart from some new grip's on the way the bike is finished. Just in time really, going to work on that black one now wink

I just hope you get it promptly mate.

Looking good that bike. Did you say that's toy's old one? Wouldn't recognise it. Very nice job on it.

There is a reason why Toy hasn't sent off the V5. "Uhh Victor now that my bike is looking crisp can I buy it back?"

Lol. Jokes.

Very good though mate.

Don't sell it at the end of summer!

They lose their price. Now is the best time to sell it. Or next summer...

Thanks, it may look better but i prefer the original and waited ages for a decent one. Even thought about changing the rear mudguard for a OEM and tailtidy the OEM one.

These came today, haven't put them on yet though.

What you think of these? yay or nay?

Took the country road's home from work today :)

Standard front fender looks spot on with the 21" front wheel, don't you think they are a tad to long at the front with the sm wheel ?

You got a full license Victor?

Sticker's I ain't too keen on. Something to note is that most stickers on swing arms are to hide dents where its been thrown down the road prior.

Yeah and.....

Surely it's the same principle with screen protectors and cases for phones.

Personally I think they go with the bike and if they hide a few dings or paint missing then so be it.

Lucky I didn't put those sticker's on yet as I'm swapping the swing arm/linkage over as it has play and failed MOT.

As with all jobs nothing is ever simple, can't seem to get the linkage off any idea's?

This is where I'm stuck. Thanks

All done with the swinger and shock linkage now. Took the front end off to do the headstock bearing's only to find the top race has gone biggrin

Think I'm going to get rid of this bike after the MOT...it's cursed.

It may be cursed but you're doing a cracking hib fixing it up for the new owner. Don't forget that. You've basically done all the hard stuff and made it decent for the nex owner. Be proud that when it's through you can genuinely sell the bike on as a decent nick bike.

Shame about the race that is a £10 five minute job. I couldn't tell you what I done with my race, since I've swapped it out for taper rollers, but I would send them to you.

I think they're a few quid of simply bearings mate. Go Koyo for about £5. Nice job. Keep up the work and photos :D
