You know when you cant help it, just bought this 82 1 owner DT175MX and another for spares off ebay. Its been off the road since 85 due to a stripped exhaust stud........ When Ive finished with it, it should look like the last White one I did.

That was an easy resto, all the bits can come from this American import, a snip at 740 quid off ebay and virtually like new and it 36 years old.

On a sensible note though, I got a very rough Red 1980 DT125MX thrown in for free with the 175 and that American import will go a long way to sorting both bikes out one day. Ive got a day or so work to do on my White 1990 DTR and the same with a 79 DT175 to do first before I can even look at sorting these out.

Yes the 175,s are, they are smooth very light and comfortable to ride with good power and will do 70mph at a push.

Beautiful, I do intend to get myself a DT 100 in the future, love those little bikes and the styling + they're super light! Hence why these proto blokes tune the living sh1te out of 'em and they end up beating DTR/Banshee's on the quarter mile drag strip lol!

Another save from the scrap pile mate, getting hard to do now. New mudguards alone are going for 400 quid a pair now for these
