Hey guys. I'm having a pretty terrible case of insomnia and have been browsing the forum for an hour or 2.

I though I'd share a few pics of my bike!

List of mods : WP Front forks, YZ aluminium swing arm, 48mm Mikuni Carb, DID Dirtstar SM wheels, Renthal Fat bars, Boyesen Reeds, New shape DT engine and panels, KOSO speedo, DEP Downpipe and Athena end can.

All in all I think it's turned out very well!

Sorry my bad. Not reading properly. That's a nice conversion there. Like what you've done. You got any photos of the koso Clocks?

I have the same exhaust setup. Sounds better than a full DEP system in my opinion. I ran the full DEP before and it sounds more like a MX bike with the Athena.

Nice bike. Also the chain looks on its last legs. I'll buy a D.I.D chain and sprocket set for it, if I was you. Mines still all good about 2,000 miles later. Not even had to re-adjust the chain after the run in period (about 100 miles IIRC sign of a good chain if it doesn't need re-adjusting after the run in period.) My previous chain was like that, I knew it was about to go, then in a corner it came off and wrapped itself around the rear wheel. Right pain in the backside that was.

Thanks lads! It's been pretty hard work jetting the carb correctly and stuff but it's finally there, you wouldn't believe how well it rides now with the forks too. I've got a GoPro kicking about somewhere so I'll get a few new weeks when my wrist is healed. I've actually got a few vids with my other panels on somewhere.

I'm due a new chain and sprocket I'd say too, already got them ordered in fact haha.

As for the Boyesen Reeds, they didn't make a huge difference until I put the bigger carb on really, just makes the throttle snappier. I would recommend them simply on how nice they make the bike feel.

It's a 1997, and the panels literally just dropped on. Need to bare in mind the ignition barrel sits in front of the tank on the newer models so I'll have to move mine eventually

It was a bit of a nightmare to be honest, having to grind parts down and still ensure they were strong enough was a task in its self. I've put 2000 miles on the clock with this swingarm on and it's still going strong tho.

It did lift the bike up pretty hight but it feels great to ride.
