Lobbers Duqvarna SM project

Hi people, new to forum and just part way into my long term Dusqvarna SM project. I bought the bike in early part of  last year on a wet dark night with no torch or lighting, next morning I was disappointed at what I'd bought so did't touch it much due to work and basically not making the time if I'm honest.Started on it a month ago now and been buying a few bits in that time, here and there.

Since joining  here been loving what I've been seeing with everyone's projects some are real genius in places. Took a few pics today of my progress, bike was seriously uncared for when I got it, so it'll relieve a complete nut and bolt rebuild now. Got some big plans a parts turning up this week so fingers crossed they work like I'm hoping.

right here image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgAs you can see, the bike needs a bit of TLC.....

Heres a few more of the bits that I've bought already and what I've done today. Need to measure everything up and into the rolling chassis before it goes off to paint image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgIf I've got the same bits as anyone else on here I apologise, all the bits you see here were bought before my forum membership was approved also it's still early in the project, it'll hopefully look very different when finished.smile

USD forks arrived today so hopefully will lift front of bike a tad higher. Started the welding and making the section for rear subframe mounts. Been a good week, was bricking it what I started to cut the frame!!!

Think I can see where you're heading with this-looney toons? What engine will it have?

I'm glad someone does Heerflick because I'm kinda making it up as I go along, it'll run the dt125 engine it came with, had a rebuild just before I bought it tbh, it's one of the only things the guy did right by the bike, by the looks of it.
I'll tweak the engine a bit later on but want the frame completed before anything else.
