Who built the engine? It's not hard I'm sure you could have done it!

Looking good though mate!

I mean it looks no more complex than a two stroke engine. And what you will learn from the experience will be invaluable? Are you going to at least lap all the valves yourself?

Yeah I'm sure lapping silly aircraft valves and a small motorbike valves are not the same. Annoying ss it is its a good way to restore bhp and is easy.

Haha the principle is the same mate, being sat there with a plunger an rubbing my hands together like a caveman trying to start fire! It's a nightmare what ever you do it on! Haha

Scrim, Calum, and Liam, just got a letter through the post that's peed me right off! I was in the same boat thinking that the DVLA would not need confirmation about the cc change. However, after sending my logbook for my KTM 250 EXC as a 125, the DVLA have written to me asking for a proof.

Aww that's not too bad. Go to a garage and they could do that.

It's worse than it sounds because I haven't actually changed the engine at all... It seems stupid because what if I had of carried out the work myself and don't want to go to a garage who would more than likely want me to pay for a confirmation letter.

At most that would be a few quid. Talking £30 at most.

If you had a mate at a gaeage then it would be a pint

Yeah they are doing this now because its changing the tax price bracket. Just get a receipt for a 125cc topend from someone.
