premix will make it alot simpler, just measure the length of the cable and take the carb into a shop, and try a few

im pretty sure nev has this carb fitted if you look at his prodject post

Not shure if you workedo out the carb or not yet m8, Saw someone mention something about the cable lenght not being right ?.

I remember it was a bit sketchy to get it to work for me too, But if you just place the cable the shortest way on the bike to the carb, if you know what i mean. It whould be long enough.

What size carb is that ?.

And also for the manifold. No problem, If its a 34mm like mine, Just dremel out the standard manifold all the way trough to make it fit. And then take a strip or something around the manifold and thighten up around the carb.

And are you gonna get a powerfiltre ?, im shure thats gonna make a difference too !

small update on the build havnt got far as iv been sortin out seans bike which he now has back : )

finished stripping tonite jus gotta cut off bits of the frame im not gonna need anymore, dig out barings, bushes ect from the wheels n swinger then they can be sent off for powder coating biggrin

iv decided to stick with the standard dt rear caliper and yzf front caliper for now as making up brackets for the rs brakes is gonna be a major head fuk as the front mounts in differently, and the rear is jus gonna be a ball ache lol

got my new yzf 450 forks the other week aswell and im waiting on some nice billet yokes to arrive, still loads of parts to collect yet the list is endless disbelief

some piccys : P

stainless dog bones still looking fresh after the **** i threw at em wink

also cant belive how good the piston is looking after the abuse aswell!!! pre mix FTW!!!

new beef forks, fully adjustable settings, these wer soposed to of come off billy mckenzies yzf450?? either way there freshly rebuilt so all is good wink

so small update not alot has happended yet as we've really busy at work n not had any time to get stuff done alsot not alot of money so no powder coating yet : (

i have got me a new sm front fender tho looks pretty kl  and dome some bits to the frame

heres a pic of the front wheel with the new forks, ill get a pic of em with the new yokes tomoz as there at work awaiting the top yoke to be machined as it too bloody small for the wide ass fork legs : /   lol

and some left over scrap, the rear end is goin to be flush n smooth looking iv cut any bracket thats sticking out all ugly lookin lol for the exhaust im gonna cut off n smooth the rear top mount on the box its self, jus gonna have the lower front one holding it on should look pretty sweet

had to send off my front end to another engineering firm coz i jus dont have the time to get it done myself, so i picked it up today n well happy its done : )

i got them to machine the top yoke to fit the massive forks, fabricate a caliper bracket and front wheel spacers, heres some piccys

also came home to find my HP rear fender turned up.... gd timesbiggrin  getting all the plastics in white so it covers nicely with the yellow paint or gd for the camo if i decide to go down tht way?

on saturday ill be finishing off prepping the frame n swinger for powder coating, jus need to remove the old steering barings outer race, and drill n tap a thread for the rad hanger prob some other bits, then finally make some real progress wink

oh yea also gonna tidy up the caliper bracket, shape the edges n welding up as its abit rough n ready atm lol get that powdercoated aswell
