coz they normally fall apart when u take them out due to the fact u need to tap them out with a hammer n drift. needle rollers fall out the cages n plastic bushes get all out of shape/break up

Looking amazing, the dep would really finish her off. Love that braiding on the wires and pipes really tidys it up. I will be doing the same my self great idea. You finished it off nicely you should be pleased with the results cause it looks great, like to see all the bikes on here, as they are all one of a kind.
Av got a dep already but its hammered. Welded all over. Weld one bits then it leaks elsewhere. Didnt wanna spoil me Freshly painted engine. the overbraid deos look ok. If ya get it, cut it with a grinder as anything else bends and creases the stuff. Also wack some wd40 or something down the braid to lube it up for the rubber pipes or it just wont go over. Cheerz for the comments lads!!
Just a quick question bro... How much for the blue anodised engine bolts, if u don't mind saying? Was looking to get some black or red ones for mine but can't find ne less than 60euro! Cheers!

I seriously wouldn't bother with the anodised bolts mate and I am sure many will agree with me!
For the money they aren't worth the effect! Not only are they expensive they are weak as hell and the slightest over tightening can cause them to snap inside the thread. One thing that happened to my dt years ago and I still haven't got round to fixing. It's in one of the most difficult places to tap a thread into!
More hassle than its worth!
The best thing you can do is type 'boltmeup' into eBay and buy a stainless steel kit for £15!
Not only do they look sick. They are cheap and a lot stronger!
Plus you'll have so many spare you can go around the whole bike taking out the cheap Nast crappy iron bolts for nice shiny stainless steel!
This sounds more like what I wanted!! I was thinking the anodised ones would be stronger! The bolts that are in mine atm are starting to rust and don't look very nice, so it was just to clean it up a bit! Will have a look on ebay now! Cheers calum!!
Yeah. Be careful though. If you're anything like me you'll end up spending a fortune on bolts. So addictive. I bought a special fixings tray just to store the bolts and nuts. Filled it up to the brim. :) it's just so nice to change over all the bolts whilst you're rebuilding everything. I get so side tracked. I'll be working on one thing then notice a rusty bolt and be like meh gotta change that!
Haha yeah, had to take of the side fairing to get a look at the cylinder head code, so I was up real close to the engine, and noticed so much stuff that I want to change and clean! Funny thing is, within a few weeks it'll be clogged with dirt again thanks to the horrible road conditions here!! Will be WELL worth it for the time its clean though!!
A havnt been on here in ages dread, a made the bracket myself out off a 5mm sheet of ally. Covered it in maskin tape and drew it on. Measuring everything twice. Then set about it with a grinder hacksaw n drill. Filed an wetn dried it. Thn handed it ova to me old man to polish it. If you reply back t this. Al take it off n scan it with all the measurments. I well happy with it like, been on the road 8 months with it and its solid. Looks like an original part.
