It's a polisport halo - took a long time to get it to sit right as the clocks push the top out loads but not at the bottom. I used the frame with a long bolt through the bottom with a rubber bit to keep it pressed at the bottom sits perfect now.

any chance of some pics to show me your installation and hows it is all located around the forks, clocks and the mod at the bottom of frame please? got mine coming and would be great help. also any problems with wiring up?

thanks

I will double check at the weekend

When I fitted the carb it was idling at 3k so had to take it out more, that was probably at 1-2 turns I think

Well harry that bogging or hesitation u speak of sounds to me like your a bit lean on your pilot circuit. Whats the air screw set at? Have you changed any of your jets as i see you have opened up the top of the air box

Spot on and 4-5 turns out is way too much ,should be 1.5-2

Have some pictures about the headlight. Basically 2 bottom straps used, and a bolt put through the bottom of the headlight frame to position it with a rubber grommet at the end to stop cutting into it.

Also cut down the headlight frame bits that stick out for the standard headlight

having a mare, trying to fit this headlight... just seen you only have the 1 attachement each side..have you cut anything off the subframe behind to help fit better?

determined to get this fitting right :p

I trimmed the subframe mate but I doubt it would make it fit better it was just to make it look neater. I took me a LONG time to get it to fit right with the right combinations so don't give up, the bolt at the bottom through it pushing the headlight out was really what makes it fit nice.

Yeah that's one of the original wires, it's sidelight+ iiirc. If it snaps I will fix it haha

Sorry for the electrical tape and cables ties, did all the loom last summer before I properly did it with solder and heat shrink but anything after will be done like so. Got to rewire my 106 engine loom with custom plugs so not risking any sort of short.

+ 1 really nice bike. Love the red rim tape with the blue and the Dep. Really smart example of a DT SM.

Haha only difference now is I don't want to plant it too hard into the corners in case I drop it, couldn't bare to see it slide across the tarmac... it's actually more fun to ride one that's maintained well but where you don't really care about aesthetics

Very soon Nath, definitely in a couple of weeks for sure just got to get these uni deadlines out the way. When do the staffs / stoke bike shows start?
