Personally if hes not sent it yet, ask him just to tack weld it at that first bend, it looks like he's not seam welded it yet anyway, just incase you need to do what I did, then if you need to break the tacks, rotate it but put a couple of chalk marks on it so as the bloke welding it back up can see where it has to line up.
How far out was yours. Because even though that dep didn't fit correctly it was only by a few mm. Not worth cutting the dep open to correct. Just wanted a different mounting point.
Nah trust me if I could have pulled it in by bending it I would have done, it ran out a fair bit, but being a plater/ welder by trade I have all the welding gear here, stick is too fierce and even with small rods I had a job blobbing it, I'm getting a bottle of oxygen re-filled soon then I'll gas weld it up. You've got that one there at a good price anyroad,
Probably take a full day to make, basic lobsterback development that. I used to do similar but much much bigger for ducting.
Well that is slightly disapointing to hear to be fair. I'm no welder and I was hoping perhaps too optimistically to use this pipe.
Either way I've still got choices. I can always have another one made up and this one will fetch a good sum of money being only one of a few around england.
It's a bespoke underslung for the DT engine made by a tuner over in Porto Nevwin...hand made to your spec and material choices etc.
If i was gonna have any zaust i'd have one of these or get mick or someone similar to hand make one, don't see how anything else on the market can compete with a hand made underlung that's been designed over years of poro guys fettling with Dt engines...
They all seem to use them on the 100's of vids i've seen over the years, so they must be the best exhaust possible for power gains.

lol bless Cal, it will look the dogs mate honest, it's just that when your engine is in the frame just try banging on your DEP first, you'll be surprised, I know I was, and even though bloke has offered to make me an underslung race exhaust, up near Bradford way I reckon I'm sticking with the DEP, started mine up yesterday, it really wants to pull itself off the stand, plus the 2 inch spark shooting out off the left hand magneto bolt looks impressive too, gawd knows what that's about, am hoping I put a too long a bolt in there, and it's arcing somehow.
them reeds are to long ther over the end of the cage they will flutter open with back presure trim then down on the ends had some 1 else with that problem insted of the back pressure holding them shut on the rubber cage the back presure was lifting them up cal....

Posty is on it like sonic. Carbon reeds completes more of the engine.
So that will also take the 32mm carb. 4dl intake.

The flange at the end isn't welded on mate. So you might be able to move the pipe into a better position then lock it down with the flange.
Must say he's done a really nice job on it. It looks wicked.
Also I messaged him thanking him and he sent me over some maps for my zeeltronic to try with the new pipe. Really nice chap. Excellent English too! He linked me to his page and he's got some lovely two smokes on his background.
Aprilia RS125
Yamaha TZR
Yamaha DT125R with USD's and Aprilia Wheels. Hhhmm Sound familiar lol
Are the maps from him much different to boruts cal? I do like the underslug the only thing thats puttin me off is i think it would be trashed of even a small fall on the right hand side. Or do you reckon it will fit quite snug to the bike? Also are they stainless steel ?

It's stainless Steel
I'd imagine you don't want to fall off with this thing on. I don't do much of that. It'll be just my luck that I will now but that's life I suppose. Could just as much damage the DEP with how weak they are.
i blew my dt up ... but i fixed it.... Then i crashed it.... but i didnt fix it right and 2 scouser's come in the middle of the night and left me with a working bike
