IMO polished stubby dep would match/finish it off beautifully. Whilst also saving you money, talking from experience and imo I just think you can't beat a heavily polished stubby dep can, i've just spent a few hours on mine whilst building back up everything ocd and gleaming, was already nice as i looked after it but now it's mirror all over, not bad for a 5+ year old dep system ;)

What about the mounting points though? Would love to see some photos with an end can and the platics on.

Well I'm going for the Jolly Moto End can so will need some welding done to the pipe to get some brackets made.

But it came with a bracket to hook it to the frame. It doesn't weigh anything either. Lighter than my dep pipe.

So received my parcel today. It's okay. I don't know maybe I was expecting more. I know I've seen more. Slightly disappointed. I know what sort of porting can be done. Maybe that's my flaW. But biggest issue here. Has the powervalve been grounded down too much! It's now been exposed which is rather frustrating.

Oh well have a loo. For yourselves...

then this is my only issue. Exposed dowel on the exhaust port.

What I will say though.

All the ports and edges are all nicely chamferred. There are noticeable differences. I just thought It might have been a little bit better.

But fck it. I don't want crosser power. I'll get a crosser for that. I'm pleased with it. I'm still glad It got done.

I wouldn't be too happy either with the port cutting into stud hole.

It's just the powervalve. A little bit of Chemical Metal would sort it out.

But yeah pretty crap.

Lol. Well that's pretty disappointing.

Not much point in ringing up complaining. Not much you can do about it now. Highly doubt he'd offer a partial refund. And I don't care that much to bother.

It's upsetting yes. But I've got a whole garage full of powervalves. I don't see it affecting the performance and will soon gunk up with carbon.

 Cheers NORFE mate. Appreciate it.

It wasn't too bad. Or at least I didn't think so.

£130 for the barrel. £30 for the head. £12 postage. I'd say it was fairly reasonable. Not it's done it's done. That barrel is only 0.5mm oversize. So will have plenty of life left in it.

Can now FINALLY put the engine back together. Finish the TZR build and bolt it all together. Finally...

Just need sprockets! They don't do 520 pitch!

See i still reckon that the 4fu barrels look more like the rs one there. The fins down the ports at the sides are slim like the rs and wider than 3mb/3bn. The fins down that m,a barrel still chuncky as ****..

I've completed my 4FU barrel too.

The rs uses a flat top piston and is nikasil plated like the 4FU. But believe me bradders. Even the 4FU is far from decent.

Can't say for sure.

Why has he taken so much off the powervavle for a 0.5m oversize :S, Also those transfer ports kinda look like the angle has been increased, rest looks good though

I tried showing why in the photo. The exhaust port is now HUGE! Compared.

And cheers for the positivity. I can only hope so. Still got a while to go yet. I've just finished another £1500 project of mine that took priority over the last few weeks whilst I was waiting for the barrel. Now just need to be paid again till I can make any serious progress. Will modify gaskets and fit cylinder to bottom end. Then that's about as far as I can go.

I need to work out jetting. Sprockets. Chain. End can. Which boost bottle to use.  And a few other bits and bobs.

Nice work Cal. Not the end yet though! There is no end! Did he ask if he could scratch into the side of your barrel like that? I've heard alot of good things about him but based on that valve and that marking the barrel, i will never have any of my parts going near him. I was going to get pipes for the 350 made by him/his mate but think ill go elsewhere.

That's a good point karnage. I just asked for more mid range. Mild porting. Now I remember. I specifically asked for just a mild tune. Nothing too extreme.

No didn't ask for engraving it.

No mdk I'll have to test that thanks.

Looking mint mate, this summer will be f00king mint with all our projects on the go.

I'd have to agree with Andy and Mdkizzle though.

I was going to get some work with pipes and tuning from him but I'm going elsewhere.

Does seem a bit daft that he's scrapped his mark on the barrel with a stanley knife lol.
