as above im getting a false speedo reading and flat out the speedo wont go above 50-60mph when i know full well the bike goes way above that. When i first got the bike it was fine and after many a wheelie it became dodgey any help would be greatly apreciated i have already bought and fitted a brand new speedo...

How can you tell if the speedo drive will work when off the bike ? is there any way ?

hi guys, as title says looking for a speedo drive that would fit and be calibrated to a DTX size wheel. atm i have my standard speedo drive on there but need to get it swapped over and seems these things are rare. Any ideas what models will fit?

I completely forgot how it was when I took it off. Is the speedo drive stopper in the right position ?? Is the distance between the hub and lower fork leg correct ??

My DT has SM wheels on and apparently the front wheel hub doesnt have anything for the speedo drive to grip to when the wheel is turning , is there anything i can do to fix this problem ?

hi i have been looking for the cause of my spedo falieur. and it turned out to be the drive unit on the wheel. does anyone know where i can get a new unit. ( the manual says that it is sealed so cant repair. for a 97 bike. thanks john01
