I'm thinking of getting some wheel's built for my bike as my steel rims have flat spots and the odd loose spoke I have the hubs ready for a rebuild but I'm undecided on the rims I was thinking of getting gold or black I was just wondering what peoples opinions were thanks

I've decided to have some wheels made up using excel rims with hd spokes but they only sell them with a 19inch rim for the rear end do you think it would be ok running a 19inch rear wheel thanks.

cant remember who it was but somone was asking me if i would sell the custom spacers i made to fit the 5 spoke rs 125 rear wheel to dt swinger??? well i found the other one i had lost so there available now if you still want them ; )

ive been having a look throught the wheel section b ut i can t seem to find what im looking for. im after a set of ali wheels as the stock chrome wheels are just to heavy. what im trying to find out is there a direct set of wheels that will fit straight on maybe something from a early yz ?. As above I've bougth some super Moto rims and my question is can I swap the original hubs disk and sprocket over and re-lace them into the super Moto wheels so I don't have to change the swinger brakes etc -- Edited by dickodtr on Thursday 7th of November 2013 11:34:33 AM

I have a few questions , can someone tell me the correct way of refitting the dtx front wheel as recently had a new tyre fitted oem sport demon n now seems unstable over 60mph as if im riding on a knife edge n bars are tryin to flap about ! when i fitted wheel back on didnt av it raised off floor just lifted fork l...

first thread (woop woop) anyway my little 2003 dtr is looking tired and rusting away these days, i can handle the other stuff like nuts/bolts etc its just the wheels that bothering me is there anything i can do to keep it at bay? i can get most of it removed via a wire sponge and some metal polish with 15mins...

i got a set of dtr 200 rims a few month back their a bit tatty atm and was just wanting to know the best way to remone anidize from the rims as am after polishing them to a chrome finish but they have been anidized silver and looks crap any help would be great al upload a few pics

Any of you lads recently bought any rim tape for their wheels, I'm looking for some decent tape in green, and something that wont wash off after a couple of washes, if anyone can put me on to a decent supplier, I presume that its best to buy the curved segments rather than on the roll, I've seen some stuff...

Ok so have a quote on getting me rims re-sprayed...55 quid per wheel if i just take then the rim or 110 quid if i want then to take wheel apart and re-lace it back on. Erm so how hard is it to lace rims?? do you need special equipment?

the dt200r runs on alloy rims you can get them on ebay just thout it would be an upgrade over standard as thay probly lighter than steel.

Been looking for some wheels for my DT but wanna go up a size to 21" on the front and a 19" on the back and id like them in blue. but dunno where id get them from been looking on the net for some Talon wheels but there loads of £££ and pluss id need just the rim as i need to have my DT hubs lased into the hub...

I wanna spray up my rims but dont want to take the spokes off to do it, ive taken the tyre and innertube off and cleaned them up good. Do you reckon i could jus spray them as they are? I wanna do it my self and not fork out for a pro job that'll cost a fortune, any ideas please?!?!?!
