IIRC the R6 tubes are a fit, can't remember which years tho, that's the cheaper option, but i'm sure you can get expensive ones which you wont have to modify to fit. Common mod on the DRZ & Gixxers

Pretty much in the name but it has a type of pulley/cam doo dah inside the throttle body, does away with the push/pull double cable type you usually get on trail bikes, The 4DL has this type fitted on one of the Belgardas, but cant remember whether its the 4DL1, 4DL2, or the 4DL3 model, Brian was telling me the benefits of it this morning, but I was a bit busy looking at the 3 GT 750 Suzukis he's got in his workshop, to fully take it all in. Some pics of it

innit, like I say you can get these off the 4dl Belgarda but as rare as rocking horse muck, never seen this on other bikes but maybe you can ask around.

Ha ha ha Towie, it looks nicer now with that new DEP on it all shiney, I'm now on the lookout for some TDR Italia wheels (3sh model), same as I put on the Black/Green bike for SM, till I can get the 3 spoked wheels turned out to take the custom bearings I need to use.

Aye cheers for sending the link Andy, but I've already got the 3 spoked alloy wheels for the DTZR and I've since found out I'll have to mess about sorting out some bearings to fit the front spindle with those, I was just looking for some stainless steel spoked TDR Italiano Sumo wheels, same ones as I put on the Black/Green bike, they fit straight on no messing, as a temp measure till I can get the 3 spoked wheels customised.

Sounds alright dunnit, especially with the carb just plonked on there, should sound better still, once the carb and throttle's set up properly.

Here ya go Slob, I got mine from here, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271274421258?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 best to use two jubilee clips rather than the spring clips that comes with it, and Calum, yours will be pretty much same, when its done,
glad I stuck with the 38mm Keihin mind, even if it was a ball ache to get to fit properly.

Yes but I'm WAITING ON PEOPLE! Very frustrating when you want to complete something but everything has come to a standstill and there is nothing you can do about it. Try as I might. I've been told maybe the end of this week for a Wossner piston. Chaveys take the Michael!

NEV you're my inspiration and I want to thank you. Your ingenious thoughts are what make my bike reality. I find your build threads such pleasure to read. Especially that green one.

I don't know where that build thread is but I don't recall it on this site.

Its on here somewhere in Projects Cal, bit cheesed off about the Black/Green bike to be honest, gave it to my eldest daughter so she could use it, been stood on her driveway undercover since October, never used the damn thing missus reckons she's a bit frightened of it, so I reckon I'm gonna get it back off her, flog it, then buy her a car instead, 2k should buy it if someone in here wants it, its insured for £2500. I'll be asking nearer to that if it goes on Ebay or Gumtree, but doubt it will get on there, as there's a couple of local lads have shown interest in it, if I were to tell them I'm flogging it.

You're crazy! You gave it to your daughter! Aww man I wish my dad done something similar for me. Well Jeal. Love that Green and black bike. If I didn't have a DTR I would have that straight off you.

You know it's worth more than that all day long right?

If It's in as good as condition as I remember it then it's worth the best side of 2K

That's such a shame Nevwin, you're a top fella for doing that though babe.

If I were you Nev, I'd keep her. Keep all of your DTs and turn your dining room into a show room for them.

But if you're going to sell her then I'd be wanting 2.5k-3k all day.

You can't really put a price on our babies, or atleast I can't. Far too many memories and good times with mine + all the work aswell.
