Has anyone had an experience with bringing back the powervalve afer a rebore. I was skeptical at first but it appears you do have to do work on the valve to stop it rubbing on the piston after a rebore or two. Does anyone know how much need to be taken off or had any general experience with this?

So found the reason my dt hasnt been as fast as it should. so i took the power valve out turned bike on let it do its reset cleaning cycle put the power valve in so its fully open now when i set off on the bike its bogging down all way to 7k then after 7k its monstrous goes like a bat out of hell but i cant ride the bike normals like when im just looking to trundle to work i d...

Has almost stopped. My powervalve used to make the dinstinctive noise when the ignition is turned on, now all I get is a weak whirring and sounds like it's struggling to do the cycle.. Any ideas? The battery is fine and all lights work without fail and no dimming..

Then i got the 2 cables that go to the servo and slacked them off so they was lose. Then removed the exhaust so i could get my finger in the port to feel for the value, the value is about 1-2...

i have a dt125r 1995 it was fine the powervalve was open fully and was coming in at about 6000rpm whitch i was happy with now ive fitted a fresco front pipe and the powervalve comes in at 7500rpm whitch is far to late and when i get into 6th gear the bike dies and slows right down. can any body help

hi i recently bourght a 97 dt125r. i am looking for a power valve and have found one. the fitting on my bike is the 2 prong one but the one for sale is the 3 prong one but the guy said there is a way of putting the 3 prong one on my 2 prong bike. is this ture, can it be done? thank you very much john landells.

i have a 91 dt125r with a 88 engine i bough a power vale servo from a dt but its the 5 wire one , it came with a tzr125 control box which i have wired up and appears to work wot i would like to know is wot the valve should be doing when engine is running
