is there much difference between these bikes ie power ,restrictions , any info which is better really , only asking as thinking for buying a 2005 re frame , but would like and early 90s but if not much difference then I might as well buy the re frame

Ok so I decided to pull the head and barrel to sort out the gasket on my DTR. Cheap gasket installed upside down (yes that's right!) The barrel looks in very good condition, still has honing marks. As for the piston - can anyone tell me what this is? It isn't a standard piston... Also the head is in very good...

Hi, Has anyone ever had any experience of owning one of these? I was planning to get a more exoctic sm, like an sxv 550, but the ktm has come up for sale locally. Bike will be strictly a weekend toy for a and b road blasts.....don't need it to commute. Thanks for any info

The little Stinker is going on the Yorkshire ride of rememberence tomorrow all a bit last min but looking forward to it , be the first big ish ride out she has had since the spring , she had one in August about 50 mile round trip be a little bit more tomorrow, but then she should get a bit more now the big bike...

Hi all. I've got a slow leak coming from the bottom of my crankcase. Anyway before it gets bad I would like to replace the seal that is on the flywheel side (I have a 2006 yamaha dt) just wanted to know what the seal number or size is so that I can go and get one and not pay £12 from yamaha for one!

I m sure I ve seen a guide on here for replacing the crankcase screws with Allen bolts an listed all the required lengths I can't seem to find it now though does anyone know ?

have seen a few nice looking dt on flea bay that are being sold as imports with no uk reg but come with import duty payed .but you need to send of for uk reg with a nova( ?) slip.Theres a nice lilac one on there 1990 , 15k (9000 miles) £1400 . I take it as these are full power as imports with a wired working power...

The 200/230s are cheap here. I have a farm here and can ride across it direct to the beach so not that bothered about it...

	Why cheap head gaskets are CRAP!! (Preview) Ok so I decided to pull the head and barrel to sort out the gasket on my DTR. Cheap gasket installed upside down (yes that's right!) The barrel looks in very good condition, still has honing marks. As for the piston - can anyone tell me what this is? It isn't a standard piston... 	Crank seal question (Preview) Hi all. I've got a slow leak coming from the bottom of my crankcase.
