Im doing a complete overhaul on my dt125r 2001 and im finally tackling the exhaust, it is a DEP and im not sure what the best way to remove the carbon is?, and if anything i use will damage the inside because i dont really feel like buying a new one., any help would be appreciated thanks :) Alfie

Hi Fellas DTR 125 2000 had been running a Big one system for the last year and a bit, with a 260 main jet to suit, went perfectly pulled like a train after 8000k revs. ran as it should and plug was a near perfect colour, it was lovely was real pleased with it. would hit 75 on a flat with no wind anyway it rust...

hi i was thinkin about buying a dep expansion chamber and i want to keep my gianelli silencer and was wondering if anyone knew if it would fit on the giannelli silencer without any mods?

Does anyone know how to or can give me a brief run down on how to repack the end can of a DEP pipe. As a few people have mentioned bike is sounding GASH! I've decided it's not the PV or that it's blowing so it must be the packing on the end can. Usually I don't notice cause I ride with my music on. But this morning...

Last augaust put dep exspansion on,it went realy nasty and rusty so got onto seller on ebay,they got onto dep nice email today to say dep are going to replace it !

My 2003 dtr came with a dep pipe fitted but the front mount near cylinder is about an inch out.can make a bracket for it but just wondering if there were different fitments for different dt thanks

Thanks to Calum122 for the inspiration won a tatty end can off ebay and done it to match my colour scheme Honest opinions please lads couldnt leave the carbon wrap sat in my man shed for long so glammed up my airbox/ lower r/h panel too -- Edited by Gambodia on Thursday 5th of September 2013 02:14:13 PM

Paid £17 for Dep pipe, knew it had somewelding done...turns out it is very poor welding. Been attacked with arc welder by looks of it. my bike is missing the piece of rubber that stops the exhaust leaking gases where the end can and the expansion chamber pipes join would the rubber from a standard exhaust fit? thanks

Hi all i got my dt yesterday and if i put my hand on endcan it doesnt cut out and smoke comes out from a panel when i do it so i took the panel off to find out there was a jubilee clip holding it together how should they properly fit? its loud dont want it blowing :( any help is appreciated so thanks in advance

basicly i took my exhaust off and stuffed a rag over the outlet on engine while it was being repared started her up which just front pipe on and chucks out loads of white smoke...could it be condensation in engine where its sat over the weekend with no exhaust or is it running to rich due to not have a back b...

As above got a another dep silencer which came with the dtx sm setup I bought and was wondering if its an easy fix to sort out the holes on the pipe which joins to the xpanny, see if it's not too much hassle/money to get it sorted I'l get it done andl polish it up as well and sell it on?
