This isn't on my dt ... but anyway my monoshock on one of my other bikes has seized in the fully compressed position. riding it is unbearable lol the damper is touching the top of the assembly. might aswell be a fixed tail lol, are seized shocks a common occurrence ? im not looking to fix it just replace...

Hi lads im after your wisdom again As title are all dt shocks the same! im having to renew the shock and linkage as it well past its best, anyone got any tips on how to remove the part of the linkage on the frame, sames like the boltis in a bastard position as always any help is majorly aprecated Cheers...

I have greased the all the linkages sprayed little wd 40 around the shock mounts but its still squeaking ant ideas cheers

Doesca jack up kit exist for bikes that have rear shocks instead of mono shock I could fit longer shocks but I would need a 365mm shock with around 70mm of travel

What is the difference in the rear shocks, some listed 2004 on, so whats the difference from dtr125 pre 2004 and everything after 2004? I bought a mint one off ebay only for it to arrive and not be the one advertised so not mint, so need to know what I can put in year wise and the difference. -- Edited by georg...

Not had my bike together for a while and was wondering how much space there is around the rear shock, would i be able to replace it for one with a gas canister without removing the battery tray?? Thanks

After spending ALL DAY trying to get the bl**dy thing out Ive given up! The bolt is seized to the bush inside the shock and no amount of abuse has moved it. Has any one found a bearing factor that can suply a bearing to fit the bottom shock bush after much soaking with WD and spitting and using naughty words managed to get the old one out well chuffed then went on the web and the local Yam dealer only to be told they don't do them you have to buy the full shock ?? m...

Been messed about on the rear shock i ordered but have found this close by, Its a 2006 DT125X rear shock, however the fixing points look the same as my 89 DT125R shock ( if its even the original one) Anyone confirm for me that if the mounts are same it will definately fit?

i've got alot of play on my lower rear shock bush/bearing which ever it is, i got the nut off it but trying to get the bolt out is something else, anyone got any advice for getting this out? tryed wd40 with a spanner with a extension extension bar on it and drifting with quite a bit of force yet hasn't budged i...

Does anybody else have play in their rear shocker. When i remove the seat and lift the back wheel just off the floor and back down again i seem to have slight play in the shocker bottom bush. Is this normal?? Any help cheers.

I need new / replacement rear shock for my 2004 DT125Re (the damping's gone pop after just 2500 miles...). Do the shocks from earlier models fit or did the 'Re' have a different one? Can anyone recommend a good replacement that I don't need a mortgage for?
