Who has fitted the vhbh from the tdr The carb was running a 142 main jet I was told to use a 170 will I also have to change the atomiser an the other jet or do you only need to change the main jet

Not sure what section to put under. but anyway, I get like a flat spot between 6-7K then it's ok once after power valve opens at 7,000rpm, no power between 6-7k. shall i buy some carb cleaner and see if that makes a difference? stuff that i can put into the petrol tank. or maybe redex? i literally have to dro...

Hi, I was wondering if any body knows the size of the thread for the air needle? mine was rounded off plus the thread in the carb is shagged. I've managed to drill it out, but I need to re-tap the thread in the carb body. Thanks

Hi all. The DT is leaking petrol at night when I leave it in the shed. It seems to be on the L/H side where the fuel tank pipe to the carb is, I'm guessing it's somewhere around that area. Hopefully somebody can give us a hand on this onE. So as you know I've got a Yamaha tzr 4dl engine. The inlet manifold does not have the oil inlet ON. I don't want to trial and error it as you know oil is kinda important! So does anyone know where the feed is for the oil pump. If you guys want some pictures...

Can't get the pilot screw out of my carb. The head has completely gone and it won't move left or right. Just seeing if there is any solutions before I buy another carb. Obviously I've tried spraying numerous amount of Wd40 in and and then leaving it. However I can't get the thing out Cheers

Has anyone got a bodge method for removing the carb float bowl? I.E. Doesn't involve removing the fuel tank and carb completely.

Hey there decided i wanted a bigger carb a while ago nothing daft 30-32mm then i realised i could just open the standard carb up 2mm with no difficulties :) so...... i did. took a spare carb top to work made a holding jig then slapped it in the wire eroder at work and sparked her out to 30mm with no probs . look...
