the bottle that is bolted to the frame that enters inbetween the air box and the carb mine had been coverd up with tape but the bike was realy under power with that on i took it off and left the hole open bike goes alot better does this suggest i need to block the hole up with a bottle cap and then adjust the carb...

Hi all. I was just wondering how the 1997 DT's are restricted? What can I do to get it full power? I've changed the exhaust for a full DEP system (in the process of fitting) what else is there restricting them? I can't find anything on the 1997 models for restrictions?

Searched this, may have even asked this before when I previously owned this bike lol. Basically my bike just runs out of steam at about 8.5k rpm or so. I know it's only a 125, don't expect it to be that quick but the power band just feels really short, surely if it says the redline is at 10.5k or whatever it is...
